The Graflex reflex was used by allied forces photographers to document action during the First War (and some during the Second). Other types used include German Goerz cameras, but the Graflex RB was the most advanced camera of its time and carried on being made almost unchanged until after WW2. Speed range from 1- 1/1000 sec. Bausch & Lomb Zeiss Tessar f4.5 7 1/16in made in 1910. Ilford FP4 at 200 asa. developed in old stock Aculux. No enhancement. Plustek 120 scanner.

Ran onto the set just as the shot was over and snapped it off. Lucky. Looking through a 100 year old screen at this scene gave me goose bumps..... Punktgerasterter Zeitungsdruck einer Fotografie des Pressefotografen und Kriegsberichterstatters Robert Sennecke, entstanden "im Felde" während des Ersten Weltkrieges im Jahr 1914; mit dem fettgedruckten Untertitel General von Emmich im Kreise seiner Offiziere. Dazu heißt es weiter: General von Emmich (1) mit dem ihm vom Kaiser für die Erstürmung Lüttichs verliehenen Orden Pour le Mérite.und dem Eisernen Kreuz I. Klasse geschmückt. Rechts neben ihm der Herzog von Braunschweig (2) mit dem Eisernen Kreuz I. und II. Klasse.
