Yellowstone Super Volcano Alert - History Channel Special
YELLOWSTONE SPECIAL ALERT - 01.23.2010 - USGS reports well over a thousand earthquakes within the last 7 days, four of which rattled Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone National Park spokesman Al Nash says people reported feeling the Wednesday quakes at the park locations of Old Faithful, Canyon and Mammoth and in the Montana towns of West Yellowstone and Gardiner. The University of Utah Seismograph Station speculates that the swarms of earthquakes are probably the result of slipping preexisting faults rather than underground movement of magma. However faults are not know to produce non-stop earth quake activity lasting for weeks on end. Only underground magma on the move can do that, as the quakes are all concentrated inside Yellowstone Park rather than along a fault line running hundreds of miles in length. (Go figure) Since no one in recorded history knows the warning signs of a super volcano about to erupt, obviously it’s anyone’s guess. Just know that if these quakes continue, it’s advised that anyone within a 400 mile radios may want to find somewhere else to stay for a while until the ground stops moving in Yellowstone. Note. In 2006 President Bush jr. mandated that the USGS not talk to the public about the state of Yellowstone. @thrillaman81 The ice age caused by yellow stone theory is just a completely random thought, like the LHC theory. Unlike ice age from a volcano, the Yellowstone theory actually has evidence of happening. Also, do not worry about the theory of the wind pushing the ash cloud to other parts of the world. Although it sounds believable, it wont happen. Although, a shelter of beef jerkey it to tasty to be blown away :D
@thrillaman81 The ash cloud that comes from Yellowstone will cover the entire continent. The ash cloud will move very fast, and nothing can repel the force of the cloud, so if you live in North America, then your pretty much good as dead. But, in the case that you get out of the continent in time, and come back, the ash will only cover 1 foot of the entire continent. Even though the volcano explosion will be huge, it wont cause a northern ice age. -continueing on next text-

@jetfire5091 NOpe. this blast is a super volcano. haha it is 100 times bigger than the iceland volcano and THIS super volcano is in yellowstone hha, we arent far… New england is only 1,705 thousand miles… this ash cloud covers most of the WORLD hence the fact of a GLOBAL catastrophe
OK everyone who is thinking they could move to the UK… just saying, this would be a GLOBAL catastrophe, beyond our knowledge. this dust cloud would cover the whole US, UK, Asia, and many more! you cant move away, unless you are in a bunker underground or in a tightly sealed house, keeping dust from getting in, like putting furnace filters in ur window for air. but again, no moving away, just follow regular volcano ash cloud precautions

Do u by any chance stay up to date on info about the Long Valley super volcano? It seems they’ve also been experiencing signs of unrest for some time. (LVO has also reported unprecedented swarms of seimic activity)
