You don’t need a heavy appreciation for classiclal music to appreciate this man IMO. Of course, the more you knew about it, the funnier he was. That’s what made him special. He didn’t take himself too seriously like many people do! OMG, “and then came civil rights”…holarious!! This man was not only a fabulous piano player but a briliant comedian. He had a “vibe” that was inviting.
