The History Club
The History Club was created for the importance of adding the excitement of history to the lives of people across the world. The History Club is an ever-expanding group of teens and young adults who can get together online and have fun learning about our past. Everything on the website is 100% free and 100% online. The History Club is a very fun network where you get to do fun worksheets, activites, assignments, and, if you wish, exams.
Students will be emailed by the History Club Administrative Offices on their assignments, exams, and homework projects. Students will also have chances to meet online in a safe environment and discuss their progress in The History Club Online, along with pros and cons of an activity, etc. Students will also have access to one another’s emails, so they can converse safely.
Our curriculum for 2009 includes such subjects as the Inca Civilization, Cleopatra of the Nile, the Canadian Pacific Railroad, World War I and II, Acadia, the Mayflower (more specifically the pilgrims), the Great Depression, the Titanic, the time line of American Presidents, and much more! Each unit lasts about one month, and, during that month, students will be emailed their worksheets and information articles, as well as encouraged to look at the History Club’s website at www.freewebs.com/thehistoryclub.
So, if you think this would be a fun experience (trust us - it is!) than go to www.freewebs.com/thehistory club. Thank you, and we hope to see you all there joining our vast circle of history-lovers!
I would describe myself as a dedicated History Club member. I am a primary creator of the site, and chairman/director of many activities, excursions, programs, subjects, sources, etc. I am a proud member of the real life History Club!
